Purchasing a Domain on Cloudflare

If you do not already own a domain name for your church website, we recommend using Cloudflare. Here are the steps to purchasing a domain from Cloudflare.

Step 1: Pick Your Domain

Go to www.cloudflare.com and pick a domain for your church. We recommend choosing a domain that's simple to remember. For example... this church is called "Random Action Verb Church" and we chose a website of "www.ravchurch.com".

Step 2: Create a Free Cloudflare Account

Though there is a cost for purchasing a domain, you do not need a paid Cloudflare plan. Sign up for their free plan.

Then select "Add Site" and choose the Free plan.

Step 3: Purchase Your Domain

Once you've found the domain you wish to use for your church website, go ahead and purchase it.

Step 4: Domain Purchase Completed

After you've purchased your domain, Cloudflare will display a new screen letting you know the process is complete.

NOTE: By default, Cloudflare will automatically renew your domain 60 days before it comes up for renewal. We recommend keeping auto-renew turned on to avoid any interruptions with your church site.
